Is this you...

You need a little push

You're motivated to prepare for your exam… but you keep putting it off. Life's busy. You just need someone to guide you and hold you accountable to a real deadline.

Studying alone isn't working

You've tried apps, YouTube, maybe even a textbook, and nothing sticks. You still freeze the moment someone asks you a real question in French, and it's frustrating.

You want structure, not guesswork

You don't want to figure out the exam format on your own. You want a clear plan built around what the TCF/TEF actually tests, with a teacher who corrects you every step of the way.

You want to actually pass, not just "study French"

You're tired of vague progress. You want a real, specific score for your immigration file, and you want to walk into that exam room knowing you're ready.

How many times have you told yourself "this time I'll be ready"...

...only to lose momentum a few weeks later? How many hours have you spent studying on your own, only to walk away feeling like you barely moved forward? You start to wonder if you'll ever actually be ready. You feel stuck, always starting over, never quite where you need to be.

It's not your fault.

You've been trying to do this alone, no structure, no daily feedback, no one checking whether what you're doing is actually working.

You probably recognize this pattern:

you start strong, a few good days of studying, maybe a mock test.

Then life happens: work, family, everything else. And you skip a few days. Then a week.

And suddenly you're back at square one, wondering if you'll ever be ready to book that exam date.

Now imagine it's different:

You hear the oral question and answer immediately: no translating in your head first.

You walk into the exam and it feels like just another Tuesday, because you've simulated it, timed, every single week.

You submit your immigration file with the exact score you needed, and you finally stop postponing your next steps.

That's the shift the GoFrench group program is built to create. No more half-finished prep. No more "I'll book the exam once I feel ready."

This is where it finally clicks.

Founder story

Welcome, I'm Léa!

What's better than a qualified teacher? One who's actually built the system that gets results.

When I started GoFrench, I wasn't running an academy. I was pinning flyers to community boards around my neighborhood in Vancouver.

I'd taken the TEF myself, for my own permanent residence application, and scored a CLB 12. But that number was never really the story. The real story was everything that happened before it.

For a while, I only taught one-on-one. It worked, but I kept noticing the same pattern: students who studied completely alone made the least progress, no matter how motivated they were. They'd disappear for a few weeks, come back unsure of everything, and try to cram it all before their exam date: not because they weren't capable, but because nobody was checking in. There was no rhythm, no feedback, nothing pushing them forward between sessions.

That's what pushed me to build something more structured: small groups, daily assignments, and consistent feedback; so students weren't left to guess whether they were on the right track. And that's exactly what changed everything.

The students who had someone reviewing their work every few days, even briefly, progressed faster than the ones studying alone for hours. Consistency beat isolation, every time.

GoFrench Academy exists because I know what it feels like to prepare for something that decides where you get to build your life.

I built it to help people actually get there, not just to learn French, but to reach the future they've been working so hard for. 🇫🇷
