If 2025 was about Growth, 2026 is about Embodiment.
Seasons of Becoming honors the quiet, layered transformation that happens when we step into new identities—without rushing, without shrinking, and without apology.
In 2026, MyCEOLyfe centers on:
This is not about reinvention. It’s about integration.
Theme: Rooted, Not Rushed
January has always felt like a pause—a breath between what was and what’s becoming. But this January feels different. This season isn’t asking me to rush forward. It’s inviting me to become grounded.
Rooted, Not Rushed: There is a quiet that settles into the house now. Fewer footsteps. Fewer schedules to manage. Less noise—but more space. And in that space, I’m learning something new: I don’t need to fill every moment to be valuable. Being rooted means slowing down long enough to notice what’s stirring inside me. It means honoring the woman I am becoming—not just the roles I once held so tightly.
Letting Go of Who You Were Needed to Be: Motherhood evolves. Identity shifts. And sometimes, the hardest part isn’t change—it’s releasing the version of yourself that was once needed every minute of the day. I’m learning to loosen my grip on who I used to be so I can make room for who God is shaping me into now. Letting go doesn’t mean losing purpose. It means receiving a deeper one.
Learning to Listen Inward Again: Without the constant demands of a full house, I’m relearning how to listen—to my intuition, my body, my faith, and the quiet nudges I once ignored. This season is teaching me that stillness is not stagnation. It is preparation.
Trusting God With a Quieter House and a Fuller Heart: A quieter home doesn’t mean an emptier life. In fact, my heart feels fuller—more reflective, more grateful, more aware. I’m trusting God with this transition. Trusting Him with the space. Trusting Him with the unfolding. Because becoming grounded doesn’t mean standing still. It means growing deeper roots so whatever comes next can stand strong.
My first journal and experience for 2026:
The year 2026 began exactly the way my heart needed it to—on the road, with my daughter by my side.
Our first trip of the year was more than travel. It was the start of our first official mother–daughter adventure, timed perfectly during her Christmas break and centered around something deeply meaningful: celebrating my mother’s 71st birthday in Arkansas.
Arkansas: Family, Laughter, and Simple Joys
Being together with family reminded me how much joy lives in the little things. We shared a small Christmas gift exchange game—nothing extravagant, just simple, thoughtful items filled with meaning. There was laughter, surprise, and that unmistakable warmth that only family brings. Moments like these don’t need perfection; they need presence.
Texas to California: From Road Trips to Runways
From Arkansas, the journey continued. We drove to Dallas, Texas with my sister and niece—another layer of togetherness—before catching our flight to San Diego, California. This was especially special because it was my daughter’s first time in California—and she absolutely loved it. What made the trip even sweeter? She planned the entire itinerary. She created a full Canva presentation mapping out our days, ideas, and experiences—something I’ll be sharing soon because it deserves its own spotlight. Watching her take the lead, plan with confidence, and dream boldly reminded me how travel isn’t just about places—it’s about watching our children grow into themselves.
Why Traveling With My Daughter Matters
Traveling with my daughter connects us in ways everyday life doesn’t always allow. It mirrors my own passion for travel—whether we’re exploring somewhere new, returning to a familiar place, or simply finding our way back home together. Each trip becomes a shared memory, a deeper bond, and a reminder that this season of motherhood may look different—but it is no less rich. I’ll be updating and sharing all of our recommendations and places we experienced from this trip on my Benable page. ✨ You can find them here: https://benable.com/sarahdipity
This journey wasn’t just our first trip of 2026. It was the beginning of something different, east coast to west coast in two weeks, and new —for both of us.
February has always held a special place in my heart.
While Valentine’s Day is often centered on romantic love, for me it has always meant something broader and deeper—it’s about showing love intentionally, in all the ways it shows up in our lives.
Love in Its Many Forms
Love looks like checking in on family. It sounds like laughter with friends who know your heart. It feels like safety, honesty, and partnership with someone who chooses to walk alongside you. This season has reminded me that love isn’t just something we receive—it’s something we practice. In how we show up. In how we listen. In how we extend grace to others and to ourselves. As I grow older, love feels less performative and more grounded. Less about grand gestures and more about consistency, presence, and truth.
Celebrating Love Across Cultures
February also brings another meaningful celebration—Chinese New Year. This year, we welcome the Year of the Horse, a symbol of strength, movement, independence, and forward momentum. While I may not be Chinese myself, this celebration is deeply personal to me because my daughter is half Chinese/Vietnamese (from her father) and Laos (from me). Honoring Chinese New Year is one of the ways we honor her—her heritage, her story, and the beautiful blending of cultures that make up our family.
Celebrating traditions that aren’t originally ours has taught me something powerful: love expands when we make space for understanding, respect, and shared joy.
Becoming Aligned
This month’s theme—Becoming Aligned—invites us to bring our heart, mind, and spirit into sync. Alignment requires honesty. It requires boundaries. It requires choosing what truly reflects our values—even when it’s uncomfortable.
February asks us to examine where we may be giving too much without replenishing ourselves, or where we’ve been quiet instead of truthful. Becoming aligned means loving ourselves enough to live authentically, without shrinking or overextending. Love Begins Within.
Self-love isn’t selfish—it’s foundational. When we are aligned internally, our relationships become healthier, clearer, and more meaningful.
This month, I’m choosing emotional honesty. I’m choosing boundaries rooted in love. I’m choosing alignment over approval.
Because when the heart, mind, and spirit are in sync, love flows more freely—to family, to friends, to our partners, and back to ourselves.
My thoughts for February:
There is something sacred about February. It’s quieter than January’s loud declarations. It’s softer than the pressure to “crush goals.”
It invites alignment instead of acceleration.
This month isn’t about doing more. It’s about becoming aligned — heart, mind, and spirit in sync. Last month I reset.
This month I’m recalibrating. Because what I’ve learned in this season of my life — as a mother, entrepreneur, caregiver, and woman approaching 50 — is that misalignment is exhausting.
And exhaustion isn’t always about being busy. Sometimes it’s about being out of sync.
🤍 When My Heart Is Saying One Thing…
My heart longs for slower mornings. More travel. More meaningful connection. Less proving. But my mind? It sometimes pushes productivity.
Timelines. Deadlines. Income goals. Growth metrics. And my spirit quietly whispers: “Stay close to Me. Move when I say move.” Alignment happens when all three are listening. Not competing.
🧠 Mind: Rewriting the Narrative
This month I’m asking myself: Is this aligned with who I’m becoming? Does this opportunity bring peace or pressure? Am I choosing from clarity or fear? Alignment requires honesty. It means admitting when something looks good on paper but feels heavy in my spirit. It means pivoting without shame. It means trusting that what’s meant for me won’t require me to betray myself.
❤️ Heart: Letting It Lead Without Drama
As an empty nester adjusting to new rhythms… As a daughter caring for her mother… As a woman navigating hormonal shifts… My emotions feel closer to the surface. And instead of suppressing them, I’m learning to sit with them. Not every feeling needs fixing. Some just need witnessing. Alignment is emotional maturity — not reacting from the feeling but honoring it.
✨ Spirit: Staying Anchored
My faith has become quieter but deeper. Less performance. More presence. Alignment for me looks like:
When heart, mind, and spirit align — decisions feel lighter. Clarity replaces chaos. And I stop forcing doors that were never mine.
