Excitement Rising for Dark Moon

The wait is almost over! 🌙

Prepare for an electrifying new adventure as ENHYPEN’s hit webtoon Dark Moon: Blood Altar makes its long-awaited debut as an anime this January. The 12-episode series will begin airing in Japan on January 9 across four local stations—Tokyo MX, BS11, Gunma TV, and Tochigi TV. International fans can stream the anime on Crunchyroll starting the same day, with Netflix and Hulu joining the release on January 13. Packed with action, magic, and unforgettable characters, Dark Moon: Blood Altar promises to immerse viewers in a thrilling and captivating world.

Graphic Novels, Blood Altar, & Their Popularity

Before the anime drops, many Engenes are already devouring the Dark Moon graphic novels—especially the Blood Altar series—which deepen the lore, characters, and conflicts we love. If you haven’t started yet, now’s the perfect time to catch up:

*Dark Moon: The Blood Altar, Vol. 1

*Dark Moon: The Blood Altar, Vol. 2

Meet the Rivals: Nightball Team ⚡

As the anime plot unfolds, Enhypen won’t be the only team in the spotlight. The Decelis boys face fierce rivals—the Nightball team from Sunshine City School, which aligns with HYBE’s J-pop group &TEAM. Their rivalry heightens the drama, adding fresh tension, competition, and stakes to the story.

&TEAM Prepares for Korean Debut with Back to Life

October is shaping up to be a milestone month for &TEAM. The nine-member group will officially make their Korean debut on October 28, 2025, with their first Korean mini album Back to Life. This release marks a pivotal moment in their journey, transitioning from success in Japan toward broader recognition in the K-pop world.

From Japan Roots to Global Ambitions

&TEAM first emerged under HYBE Labels Japan (now YX LABELS) following the survival audition show &Audition – The Howling. Over the years, they have built a solid foundation in Japan, both in recorded success and live performance.

Their debut EP First Howling: Me dropped in December 2022 and immediately established a dedicated fanbase.

Subsequent releases like First Howling: WE and First Howling: NOW further cemented their presence on Japanese charts (Oricon, Billboard Japan).

In 2025, their single “Go in Blind (月狼)” became a breakout hit, earning a Million certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) as shipments exceeded one million units.

Their touring experience has been ambitious: the group’s current concert run, the Awaken the Bloodline Tour, has taken them across Asia and will conclude on October 25–26, 2025 at Saitama Super Arena in Japan.

That final Saitama show will conclude the tour just days before their Korean debut, symbolically closing one chapter and opening another.

Back to Life: What to Expect & Where to Pre-Order

Back to Life is poised to showcase a refined sound that bridges what fans loved in their Japanese releases with fresh Korean pop elements. Though full tracklist and concept details are still under wraps, the album is widely expected to lean into themes of revival, resilience, and the journey back to vitality — fittingly aligning with its title.

The physical release offers multiple versions to appeal to collectors and fans:

BREATH ver. — the core version

GAZE ver. — complementary core edition

ROAR ver. — nine individual member versions

Plus special editions and photobook/photo card inclusions

In the U.S., Back to Life is now available for preorder via Target:

Be sure to lock in your preorder soon — special edition versions and limited photocard sets often sell out.

EJ’s New Role as Inkigayo MC

Alongside the musical push, &TEAM’s leader EJ is stepping into a prominent hosting role. Beginning in October, he will serve as one of the new MCs on SBS’s Inkigayo (airing Sundays), joining IVE’s Leeseo and TWS’s Shinyu.

This role places EJ in dual visibility: he’ll be promoting Back to Life as an artist while also contributing to Inkigayo’s stage presence as an MC— a strong strategic move for both his personal brand and &TEAM’s Korean launch.

Looking Forward

Everything is aligning for &TEAM’s transition into the Korean market: closing out a major tour in Saitama, debuting Back to Life shortly afterward, and having their leader visible weekly on Inkigayo. It’s a bold, tightly coordinated step into a new chapter.
