Donah Sandford

Founder, Real Wreckords Inc.

Donah “Chance” Sandford was born and raised in New York City and has been in the Arts & Entertainment industry for gifted children since the age of six years old. Talent scouts sought her out for her excellence in choreography and etiquette with Miss Jerry at The Vennettes Cultural Workshop in Amityville NY. International networks showed interest in her and sent her on tour with Alvin Ailey before securing the New York national award, “Little Miss New York”. William Schuller Agency in New York secured international competitions for her magnetic personality where although she was young she had opportunities to go on tours with performers, models, actresses while shaping Black American Culture by becoming the face of most American brands and breaking through the film industry globally. She is an award-winning writer whose career has spanned visual art, television, film and music. As a young performer, she appeared in international commercials for Hi-C, Duncan Hines, and Nestlé Toll House, and on the daytime soap opera Another World. She describes those roles as firsts for a Black American girl. She also won the Corbett Mayerson competition three times in a row. This competition demonstrates allegiances with the ability to create global change through Art categories and the bare simplicities. She won the Corbett Mayerson competition three times in a row in three categories.

After receiving four-year scholarship offers from Parsons, the Art Academy, and the Fashion Institute of Technology, Sandford chose to open Iration, an art gallery in Cincinnati, Ohio. There, she managed 300 artists, driven by what she had seen of artists being mistreated and working without representation. She provided a space for some of New York City’s most famous Graffiti Artists that were exploring independent business ventures like Triple Five Soul, PNB, Source Magazine, Ecko Art and clothing companies when New York was closing the doors on urban culture knowing it was about to dominate and shift the American economy forever.

Her work later included a five-year performance contract with Disney on a popular Disney show. She started outsourcing her business associates and Artists to style and design for popular record companies and Artists like Biggie Smalls, Mary J., Backstreet boys, Montell Jordan, Britney Spears, Pharrell, Teddy Riley, Janet Jackson and many more. She went on to write her first hit record, a house music song for her sister’s group Blackwood in Italy. Upon her return she appeared in the movie "Angel" with DMX. Randy Acker became her manager. He established a studio for her inside of the Def Jam building called "Take a Chance" Studios. After a few record executives passed on her solo project and Clive Davis decided to sign Alicia Keys, she decided to promote her own tour.

Chance launched Real Wreckords Inc. as an independent label and promotion company that would fund 40 city tours with Master P, Lil Romeo, Gerald Levert, Ginuwine, Avant, B2K, Marques Houston, Omarion and more. Chance opened up for all of her own self funded promoted tours. She wrote demos with Kanye West, Irv Gotti, Dame Grease, Mr,.Fingaz, Dahoud Darrien, Corte Ellis, before releasing a song with Kanye West, Roots, Black Thought, Pharoah Monk and Talib Kweli called "Guerrilla Monsoon Rap".

Her support landed Kanye West a major record deal. Shortly after, her husband was brutally murdered, her company, Real Wreckords Inc. noticed the lack of tour support for her good friend, DMX and so she gambled by putting him on tour with his promise to use the opportunity to correct his reputation from being a no-show to one of the best rap performers in Black American Culture. DMX kept his promise and she promoted his first ever 20 city tour.

DMX became the ambassador to her clothing line - Do Right U Gain Success - one of the first independent brands that has led streetwear into a new category - a lifestyle brand - again catapulting Black American Cultures significance and global influence with the support of some of America's most successful rappers and humanitarian organizations. Not only has she collaborated with trade shows for her ability to prepare small brands for international influence, she teaches international trademark and marketing for upcoming Urban Entrepreneurs through her online university - universityofsuccess.us.   Do Right U Gain Success currently has a non-profit obligation to Skate-Aid - Germany, 28 stores all while being, The International Executive President of The Ethiopian World Federation, Incorporated EST.1937 by the New York Supreme Court. www.theethiopianworldfederation.org

Her unique ability to implement her experience, affect and relate to the Black American experience gives her the authority to execute practical solutions that the community can respect all while thriving internationally. Her personal experience and honesty on issues such as civil rights violations, civil rights under the color of law and human rights violations has brought light to the lack of transparency of non-profit inclusion, international law, transnational repression. The protection of Artists rights and royalties, creations and copyright, trademark infringement, ideals, concepts, songs, scripts, and her addiction to securing justice requires her to stimulate interests in world affairs and promote American ideals and institutions. Preserving historical documents, facts, findings and accusations of wrongdoing that contribute to Black American Culture, inventions, patterns, influence or otherwise should be accounted for, reimbursed, investigated for exploiting inventions, especially against children.

In 2026, Sandford is bringing her experience to a new team at Real Wreckords Inc.—a host of gifted communicators and artists whose talent and proven work surpass the contributions of corporate professionals who rely on academic credentials alone. Together, they are reviving Real Wreckords Inc. with a renewed commitment to representing artists and protecting their creative work. Real Wreckords Inc. understands that without Black American inventors, creators and economic control over their output, the entire American economy is in danger of collapsing. By being conscious of the ripple effect of leaving Black American Entrepreneurs and talent out to dry, uncompensated it will cause the entire American economy to collapse. Greedy executives, crooked politicians, industry handlers and political apparatus enthusiasts are violators of some of America's most treasured participants that are gifted in making our country - USA - Global leaders across the board, on everything. From oil to sauce, the same standard applies: We create the narrative, we control the distractions. We are not only the best we are the real, we define what the world wants to hear, see, touch, taste and wear. We create American culture, we can never be ignored, we are the best. The Best Has to Be Real.

At Real Wreckords Inc., our artists are our family, and we go above and beyond to protect their rights, careers, and creative freedom. We recognize that the music industry can be ruthless, with contracts that often exploit talent rather than nurture it. That’s why we stand as a shield between our artists and any entity that seeks to take advantage of their hard work and artistry.

From contract negotiations to financial transparency, we ensure our artists are always in the best possible position to succeed. We actively fight against unfair deals, provide legal support, and work tirelessly to secure the most favorable terms for our talent. Our goal is not just to sign artists but to build lasting careers where they retain control over their music, image, and future.
