Hi, I'm Sofia. I'm glad you are here.

The official line: I'm a researcher, creator, and educator who's dedicated her time studying self-worth and human experiences. In my previous life, I thrived in the fast-paced world of tech corporations, living the dream with Porsches, global business trips, and a chic Shanghai apartment. Yet, amidst the glitz, I yearned for something deeper and more meaningful. This led me on a profound journey of self-discovery, where I peeled back the layers of external success to uncover the richness of my inner world.

The bottom line: Through music, dance, video creation, and coaching, I found my true passions and purpose. As a singer, I found solace in melodies during my travels to Mexico. As a bachata enthusiast, I reveled in the sensual rhythms on the dance floor. As a video creator, I discovered the joy of sharing my adventures and insights with the world. But most importantly, as an ICF ACC certified coach, I'm dedicated to guiding others on their own paths of self-discovery and personal growth.

I believe deeply in the importance of not only sharing my journey but also empowering others to embark on their own paths of self-discovery. It's about recognizing and embracing our own "heart of gold," that innate spark of goodness and authenticity within each of us.

I do NOT believe that pursuing external success means sacrificing inner fulfillment. And I absolutely believe that personal growth and authenticity are keys to a meaningful life. I've had the privilege of helping individuals unlock their potential, overcome obstacles, and create meaningful change in their lives.

My Story

1991

Born in a small village in Jilin, China.

1996?

Little Sofia is growing. I've always been eager to learn new things.

2009

Graduated from Korean Chinese high school in China.

2009

Starting my 4 year B.S. degree learning chemistry.

2012

Hald a year living in Japan improving my Japanese. What an experience!

2013

Start intern in ATOS Chengdu, taking customer calls in Japanese.

2014

Moved to Shanghai. Hustling and try to find my own position here.

2015

Joining a tech start-up, until level up to Sales Director, APAC.

2018

Another challenge working for Alibaba, a corporate job in HangZ.

2020

Start learning latin social dance. And I find bachata so sensational.

2021

Move to Shanghai joining Ant Group, living a chic Shanghai life.

2022

Pandamic changed the way I view my life. Start inner self-work.

2023

I quit my corporate job at Alibaba and start traveling Latin America.

2023

I become a singer and start singing in bars as a professional.

2024

Edgar and I met in magic town-SanCris,Mexico and we got married!

As I reflect on my journey, I've discovered that no matter how dazzling external achievements may be, what truly touches the soul is how we engage with ourselves and seek that inner authenticity. That’s why I’ve dedicated myself to the study and sharing of self-worth.

I understand that my journey and my sharing may not reach everyone or create a huge wave. But if my story, my experiences, or my work can touch your heart at some moment or in some way, even if it’s just a few of you, I feel immensely honored and deeply fulfilled. Every change, every step forward is worth celebrating because it brings us closer to our true selves and shows that pursuing external success doesn’t have to come at the expense of inner fulfillment.
