Sophia Tom is a singer‑songwriter who debuted in January 2026 with her single 'Solitude By Chance'. Early in her artistic journey, she works with acoustic‑driven sounds across pop, grunge rock, alternative, folk. Her current releases lean into a raw, warm, and intentionally unpolished sound, giving listeners a close‑up sense of her voice and artistic identity.
Sophia Tom writes and performs in English and Russian. Her debut English EP, 'Love', was released on 7 May 2026, featuring 4 singles and 2 exclusive songs, 'Landing On Your Heart' and 'In Love Again'. Sophia Tom's EP in Russian is set for release in summer, with a new project to follow in autumn 2026.

Listening to music — or even just humming a melody — has always helped me move through my emotions and experiences. When I hear other artists’ songs, and even my own, I feel a little less alone. Music becomes a place where my inner world finally has somewhere to go — sometimes sad, sometimes moody, sometimes calm or romantic, but always ready to meet you where you are.
What themes do your songs explore?
Anything rooted in real life — love, our inner worlds, nature, the way we connect with each other.
What would you recommend to someone who wants to create songs but doesn’t know where to begin?
Choose one instrument that feels closest to you. Sit with it — play the keys, pick the strings — and let your voice lead the way. Your voice is your most flexible instrument, and it’s always with you.
Write the words that feel true in the moment. They don’t need to be perfect; you can refine anything later. What matters is beginning. Even the simplest song — four lines and a few notes — is enough to start today.
𝑻ell us something unique about your creative process
Right now, I record everything acoustically to keep the little imperfections. It makes the songs feel like I’m sitting beside you, playing and singing just for you. It’s really just my guitar… me… and you. (For an even warmer feel, try listening with headphones. 🎧)
What’s your current artistic chapter?
In 2026, I’m releasing two EPs and an LP that explore bilingual musical atmospheres. Thank you for listening — stay tuned.
