Hey everyone, I'm Carver!
I have been involved with international missions since 2011. Through a trip with a university group, the Lord opened the doors to what he would later call me to do full-time. As God continuously called me back to the land of Uruguay, I eventually moved there in in 2017 and spent of total of 8 years serving the church and reaching out to the lost.
As I felt my time was ending there, I began to seek where I could serve next. My next country of ministry will be Spain as God continues to use me in unique ways to share the gospel with a population that desperately needs it. I will be continuing in the same vein in this next chapter as God uses me in both religious and secular environments to ultimately fulfill the call of sharing the Good News with all who inhabit the earth.
My prayer is that you too decide to join me and my wife, Seden in being a part of what God is doing across the world!
Carver has utilized his gifts to preach and teach in churches to help enrich the lives of the members. He has also dedicated his talents to developing leaders in the church so that they too can be better equipped to make disciples. He has heavily contributed to the musical development of churches in Montevideo so that they can carry on with their musical worship at a higher level.
Through new and innovative ways of evangelism, he has also been an example of how to reach the lost outside of the four walls of the church by encouraging believers to step outside of their comfort zone and meet the people where they are. Many times those who do not know Christ will not come to the church alone so we must be the ones who bring them the Good News of eternal life.
His desire is to see the Body of Christ continuously advance forward and cultivate a cycle of generations of believers.
Building genuine relationships with people has been the main way that Carver has been able to share the gospel in foreign lands. He believes that having that real connection can be more effective than simply handing out pamplets in many situations. There are some who need multiple encounters with our Lord to have their lives changed so his dedication is to be that bridge that many people need.
Through using music, skating, and cultural connections, Carver has been able to integrate himself in groups so that he can be a light among them. Whether it has been through having a gospel concert in a bar setting or creating a group of skaters that meets weekly, he seeks to find a point of connection in every encounter in order to open the door that leads the lost to salvation.
"Sometimes, you have to find a bridge. Other times, you have to build a bridge. And then other times, you have to be the bridge”
