Carver's mission work in Uruguay started in 2011 with a University group that had plans to connect local college students to churches in the area. After this initial 3-week trip, it led Carver through a process of going back and forth to Uruguay for 3 years straight while working more closely with the local church. He gave time to Uruguay in the summers in between semesters while finishing his Master of Divinity degree. Finally in 2017, he made the permanent move to Uruguay in order to give his efforts on a more full time scale.
During his time in the country, he worked in local churches helping to develop leaders, disciples, and capable musicians that would continue serving the Lord. Outside of the church, he pursued evangelistic efforts by connecting with the people of the population through more personal efforts. Carver used his talents and interests in order to build a bridge and create opportunities to share the gospel of Christ with those who would not normal hear it. Through music, skating, interests in sharing culture, and more Carver has been able to bring the good news to many who may not have heard otherwise.
