She has access to inner calm, joy and most importantly, choice... This is the path to true freedom.
She craves and thrives in depth, creativity and community.
She lives in attunement with her nervous system and female physiological needs.
You're not meant to live your life constantly feel like something is missing or that there's something wrong with you.
You're certainly not meant to feel 'broken'.
Several factors can contribute to living in dysregulation and can result in feeling anxious, depressed, confused, lost, broken...
You may have survived till now but if you're not thriving it may be because those protective strategies are no longer working for you and are holding you back from attaining the level of aliveness, joy and success that you yearn for.
In fact those strategies that were so essential at one time in our lives, can keep us stuck for yeeeeeaaaaaars.
'Stuckness' can show up as long-term anxiety, depression or looping between the two. Living in a chronic state of functional freeze, which essentially feels like intense anxiety and thoughts of 'what needs to happen', without the ability to take charge and make things happen.
It feels like failure, self sabotage and a whole lot of shame.
In fact, women of child bearing years were officially banned from taking part in all clinical studies in 1977 by the FDA. Even before this official ban women weren’t used in research because they were thought 'unstable’ subjects due to their complex cyclical nature, meaning research on women is considered less reliable and can be lengthy and costly.
Men on the other hand are considered more stable and therefore more likely to produce reliable data; resulting in faster, cheaper studies!
This is why women can try a multitude of healing modalities without seeing any results… because they simply weren't created for us and don't work.
Thankfully research is being undertaken on women more nowadays (thanks to researchers like Dr Kayla Osterhoff and those specialising in women's nervous system health, such as Veronica Rottman and Kimberley Ann Johnson - all women I've studied under) - the results are clear...
To heal chronic anxiety, women require a body-led (somatic) approach to:
The 6 month RESOURCED & RADIANT WOMAN programme is a wonderful opportunity to work on a deeper level and give yourself more time to work on longer standing issues.
After this 6 month deep dive, I offer ongoing packages that can be discussed and tailored to your unique being and goals.
The 3 month ROOTED IN RESILIENCE programme is a great introduction to body-led, nature based work and gives you the foundations of how to build resilience, support your female nervous system and start living in harmony with your cycle.
Each person is unique and heals in their own time, but I often recommend a 6 month package for deeper work.
Sometimes we just need a little reset when things are feeling hard.
These sessions are designed to meet you exactly where you're at in the moment and provide relief by working directly with the nervous system, resulting in more calm and groundedness, more embodied presence, more access to pleasure and safety.
A private 1:1 session is a cosy warm sanctuary. It is a brave space held just for you, to explore your inner world. I act much like a guide helping you find your way and the session is built around your needs and requirements in the moment, so every session is different and highly personalised.
There is no 'one size fits all' here.
If you've never experienced body-led or Somatic work, it may be quite different from what you'd expect. This work is different from talk therapy (a top down approach) and very different from a lot of the cathartic work that is being seen a lot online right now.
Somatic work is slow and gentle, giving the nervous system what it needs to feel safe and for deep work to be done. This can feel unusual when compared to the quicker pace of other modalities and our general need to 'fix things NOW'.
The nervous system heals when given enough space, slowness, tenderness and compassion.
If you have a tendency to search out cathartic experiences and/or feel an impatience to 'be fixed already', I invite you to sit with this and ask yourself if slowing down may be what you need right now.
When we tend to live from an activated state of fight/flight, it's normal to feel impatient and like we want change yesterday.
If you're curious about what a somatic session can feel like, please book a call.
I have tried everything and nothing has worked - why is this work any different?
This work is unique because it offers a holistic approach that combines the 3 essential keys needed to release anxiety and freeze: somatic/body-led work, nature and the female nervous system.
With a focus on these 3 key elements, all that is needed is consistent work over time.
The body will always digest undigested material (anxiety), when the right environment is created.
How long dos it take to heal anxiety or freeze?
It's not possible to put a time line or limit on healing and in fact doing so, puts pressure on a person, which often means things take longer!
Each person has a unique story and nervous system, and will each therefore take a unique amount of time to heal anxiety and/or freeze.
If you've suffered with anxiety/freeze for a long time, it won't go away overnight but a good 3-6 months of consistent work will do wonders!
I don't know anything about somatic coaching - how do I know if it's for me?
Well I may be biased, but i think this work can benefit everyone. If you're human, it'll help. But if you're not sure ask me for a discounted one-off taster session (£50) or opt for a bespoke 3 month 'intro package' to build the foundations of your healing toolkit!

I live in another country - can I work with you?
Of course! All sessions take place online, on zoom. I do also offer in person sessions if we happen to be in the same place. The optional nature based sessions i offer can also be done online.
What's nature-based coaching? Do I need to be outside for that?
No, you don't have to be outside. This type of coaching can take place anywhere. It is nourishing and supportive, and can help you to feel more rooted and experience less stress/overwhelm.
I am unsure about working online. Can i 'heal' over zoom?
Thankfully, yes! In fact it is even more beneficial to some than being in person, as being online offers a great balance between being 'seen' and feeling 'safe'. For example, being online means you can turn your camera off if you need more privacy. This choice is really crucial when working with anxious nervous systems.
How is somatic work different to talk therapy?
Somatics is a 'bottom-up' approach that focuses on the body's felt sense to go deeply into behavioural and state change. We do talk, of course, but always bring it back to the felt sense.
Talk therapy is a 'top-down' approach that mostly uses dialogue to make sense of past/present circumstances and behavioural patterns etc. They may also use some body based modalities, but this isn't the main focus, as it is in body-led work.
I'm in therapy - can I also work with you?
Absolutely! In fact, I highly recommend it. Body-led coaching can greatly support and even deepen the work done in therapy.
What is the difference between somatics and body-led work?
None, I use these terms interchangeably.
I'm a man, can I work with you?
Yes, as I offer highly bespoke packages, I can tailor my work towards men if they really want to work with me, although I tend to work with women and those assigned female at birth.
What if you can't help me?
If I feel that I am working outside of my scope of practice, I will happily refer you on to a colleague. Same goes if you don't feel like our sessions are working for you. Hey, sometimes things just don't gel, and that's okay.
